Our Beliefs

The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Holy Scriptures, consisting of the sixty six canonical books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God. They are without error in their original writings and serve as the ultimate authority for matters of faith and life. Through the Scriptures, God reveals Himself, His will, and His redemptive plan for humanity.

The Godhead

We believe in the existence of one true God, eternally existing in three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God, co-equal in nature, power, and glory.

The Father

We believe in God the Father, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, who is loving, compassionate, and just. He is the source of all life, and He sustains and governs the universe by His sovereign power and wisdom. Through His boundless love, He sent His Son to redeem humanity from sin and reconcile them to Himself.

The Son

We confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of all mankind. He is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless life, fulfilling the requirements of the law on behalf of humanity. In His sacrificial death on the cross, He atoned for the sins of all who believe in Him. He rose bodily from the dead, triumphing over sin and death, and He ascended into heaven, where He now intercedes for His people. He now reigns at the right hand of the Father and will return in glory.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. He proceeds from the Father and the Son, and He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit regenerates and indwells believers, empowering them for a life of holiness, guiding them into all truth, and equipping them with spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church and proclamation of the Gospel. The Spirit's presence and work in the believer's life are essential for spiritual growth and transformation.

Humankind

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, endowed with inherent dignity and worth. However, through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, sin entered the world, corrupting the nature of every person and separating them from God. All humanity is in need of salvation and restoration, unable to save themselves through their own efforts or good works.

Salvation

We believe that faith is a gracious gift given by God to His elect. Salvation is not earned or deserved but is solely based on God's grace. Through faith in Jesus, believers are justified, forgiven, and reconciled to God. Salvation includes regeneration, sanctification, and the hope of eternal life in the presence of God.

The Church

We believe in the Church as the universal body of believers, composed of all those who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. The Church is the visible representation of Christ's presence in the world. We are called to worship God, grow in discipleship, fellowship with one another, exercise spiritual gifts, and proclaim the Gospel to all nations. The Church is united by the common bond of faith and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
